Got Model Airplane Blues?
If you don't already, you can get it now! Chester County RC's exclusive theme song, Jerry Hale's "Smashing Up Your Model Airplane Blues", (Right click, Save As... File is 4.7 MB) a humorous ballad describing some of the frustrations of this otherwise very rewarding hobby. Some verses are inspired by CCRC weekday morning fliers!
Sisk Field Entrance
Members - The only entrance and exit for Sisk field is the driveway for house number 365 off Route 82. Please refrain from using Jim Sisk's driveway to access the field. The path to the field is an asphalt paved road with a maximum speed limit of 5 MPH.
Flight Training
Don't just buy an airplane, take it to a park, and think that you'll be able to safely fly it! We offer free flight training to new RC pilots with a paid membership. We'll train you as long as it takes for you to fly on your own. Bring your own plane to our Sisk (Coatesville) field on any given Saturday morning at 10:00 AM for free flying lessons

It all started back in Fall of 2007 with a 2.5m glider and a Senior Telemaster. The first attempt was a limited success and we kind of forgot about it after a while. Then last year Marty Zeller built a 1/4 scale Schweizer 1-26. I asked, "Marty, how are you going to launch that thing?". He replied, "You're going to tow me up with a power plane." From then on we read articles, watched instructional videos, and attended events together. Today we actually look like we know what we are doing and are having great fun with scale aerotow. Here's our latest YouTube video. If anyone else is interested in joining in on the aerotow fun, please contact Dave Eltringham or Marty Zeller, or meet us at Sisk one weekend and we'll help you get started with one of the most challenging and fun segments of our hobby.
